BookTrust says every family with a baby aged up to 12 months in England, Wales and Northern Ireland is eligible for a free Bookstart Baby pack. The pack contains a book and ideas for sharing stories and rhymes, with a bilingual pack offered in Wales.
How to receive it
The pack is usually given by a health visitor, registrar or another health or early-years professional before the baby’s first birthday. If it has not been offered, ask your health visitor or local library about distribution in your area.
